Registration – IV Sedation

How The Training Works

This 4-phase IV sedation certification program is designed to fit your schedule and give you hands-on experience.

Phase 1: ONLINE Learning (Self-Paced)

• 52 hours of online modules covering sedation pharmacology, safety, and protocols
• Must be completed before your in-person training

Phase 2: IN-PERSON DIDACTIC Training (Pick Your Date)

• 3.5 days of intensive, instructor-led sessions
• Held in Tampa, FL at Goldman Dental Institute
• The IN-PERSON DIDACTIC dates are included below

Phase 3: Live PATIENT CASES (Flexible Scheduling)

• Complete 20 live patient sedation cases in Birmingham, AL at The Foundry
• Gain real-world experience with expert supervision
• These dates will be scheduled separately after registering

Phase 4: Certification & Implementation SUPPORT (Ongoing)

• Guidance to complete your state’s IV sedation permitting application
• Continued mentorship as you implement IV sedation in your practice

When Should You Register?

Since Phase 1 takes 6-10 weeks to complete, we recommend registering at least two months before your in-person training date.
