With over 45 years of experience, Dr. Scott Sayre has faced many challenges similar to those you experience daily. Early in his career, he earned an IV sedation certification, but it took years to fully understand its transformative power.
Like most general dentists, Dr. Sayre struggled with attracting new patients, retaining staff, and providing the highest quality care. However, everything changed when he embraced IV sedation as the core focus of his Advance Dentistry practice.
By rebranding as the “No Fear Dentist,” he addressed the number one patient concern – fear.
Not only did this attract more patients but it also created an environment where every patient appreciated their dental experience.
Today, he oversees four practices in Cincinnati and Columbus, each more profitable than five average dental offices combined. Inspired by the positive impact IV sedation has had on his patients and his practice, Dr. Sayre founded Vesper Institute.
Patients want to be comfortable, often preferring to be “knocked out” for treatment. However, very few dentists offer IV sedation .

That’s why Dr. Sayre was inspired to create Vesper Institute, an innovative dental education center. Although we offer CE on a variety of topics, our world-class IV sedation certification program is the cornerstone of our training.
According to Dr. Stanley Malamed, 86% of dentists who earn their IV sedation certification don’t use it. We aim to close that gap.
