Yes. You’ll practice airway management & venipuncture on the final day of your didactric training during the simulation lab where we use a high-fidelity mannikin. Additionally, your clinical instructors will discuss airway management during your patient cases experience.

At the end of the didactic portion (Phase 2), participants will spend the afternoon doing mock drills on a high-fidelity mannikin. The majority of the clinical training occurs inside Dr. Sayre’s Advance Dentistry office. Course participants will have the opportunity to place 20 IVs and individually manage patients per the ADA requirements. We also encourage dentsits to bring an assistant to the clinic for additional training and support.
